The Amador Causeway

WHAT'S NEARBY:
  • Walk two blocks to Panama Canal and watch the cruise ships pass
  • Steps away from the apartment is the famous Amador Causeway, a palm-lined road with benches and a path for cycling and jogging surrounded by the waters of the Pacific Ocean. The causeway joins the islands of Naos, Perico and Flamenco with shops + restaurants and spanish nitelife.
  • Bridge of the Americas, a beautiful view anytime of day, joins North and South America
  • Ancon Hill, wildlife reserve and highest viewpoint of Panama City.
  • Balboa Yacht Club
  • Flamenco Marina also (was the landing site for the conclusion of "Survivor Panama" which was filmed in nearby Contadora island. )
  • Ferry boat launch to Taboga Island (a.k.a Island of Flowers)

The central Bus terminal is located in the mall with inexpensive fares to national destinations, as well as Costa Rica for as little as $50USD
  • Albrook National Airport for trips to the interior is also a 5 minute drive.
  • Albrook plaza is home to Blockbuster and the popular el Rey supermarket.
